SCHOOL TAUGHT ME FACTS—BUT NOTHING ABOUT FREEDOM
Dec 27, 2024
School doesn’t teach you how to make money.
It teaches you how to memorize facts, follow instructions, and get a job.
You’re rewarded for remembering the past, not creating the future.
No one shows you how to build wealth, create freedom, or think for yourself.
That’s why so many smart, capable people end up stuck—trading time for money and calling it success.
If you’re anything like me, school didn’t inspire you—it stifled you.
To be honest, I spent most of those years wishing the time away.
I showed up, did the bare minimum, memorized what I needed, and spat it back out for the next exam. Rinse and repeat. That’s what school trained us to do.
We weren’t taught how to think. We were taught what to remember.
We weren’t taught how to create wealth, freedom, or fulfillment.
We were trained to follow instructions, play it safe, and aim for stability.
But here’s the truth nobody told us:
What school doesn’t teach is what most of us actually want…
Freedom.
And freedom isn’t just one thing. It’s layered.
-
Time freedom — to be present for your children, your health, your dreams.
-
Financial freedom — to go where you want, when you want, without asking permission.
-
Location freedom — to live and work anywhere in the world, not chained to a desk or a city.
But none of this is handed to you because you were a “good student.”
In fact, most conventionally “smart” people—those who ticked all the boxes, got the degrees, and landed the jobs—are still stuck trading their time for money. They're earning based on past performance, not future potential.
Meanwhile, the ones who decide to stretch beyond the box?
They leap ahead.
Bob Proctor nailed it when he said:
“School gives us a lot of information, but it teaches us nothing about ourselves.”
And that’s why so many people leave school clueless about how to earn real money.
They’ve never been shown how.
THE TRUTH ABOUT MONEY
The truth is simple—earning money isn’t mysterious, but we’ve been taught to make it complicated.
What Bob taught me is this:
The Law of Compensation determines how much you earn.
It’s not about luck.
It’s not about working harder.
It’s about the value you bring to the marketplace.
“You will always be compensated for your efforts and your contribution—however much or however little.”
So if you want to earn more, you don’t beg for it.
You become more valuable.
You expand your service.
You increase your impact.
You find ways to make a bigger difference.
DO THIS NEXT
Here’s what I want you to do today—because nothing changes until you move:
✅ Remind yourself daily that income is tied to service.
✅ Ask this powerful question: “How can I add more value to others today?”
✅ Go the extra mile—not someday, but now. Do more than you're paid for.
This right here?
This is the forgotten secret of the world’s wealthiest individuals.
And one more thing…
They don’t rely on one income stream.
They have multiple sources of income flowing to them daily—by design.
That’s not luck. That’s not magic.
That’s alignment with the laws of the universe.
And you can do it too—but not if you keep playing by the same rules school taught you.
